CrossFit Mean Streets is a gym operated by Competitors. We compete in the sport of fitness and are ready to do the unknown and the unknowable full time. We train our athletes in the gym the same way. We want our people capable of all tasks this world has to offer. This is a gym made for people who want to be good at everything and make no excuses about it.

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:

■ Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds,
some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep
intake to levels that will support exercise but
not body fat.

■ Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean,
squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly,
master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups,
dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to
handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds.
Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.

■ Five or six days per week mix these elements
in as many combinations and patterns
as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy.
Keep workouts short and intense.

■ Regularly learn and play new sports.

Achievement is as simple as trying over and over and over again.

Achievement: something accomplished, especially by superior ability, special effort, great courage, etc….. A great or heroic deed.

Achievement is a noun. It is also a feeling. And it comes when you grab the ability to do something that you set out to do. Sometime it takes years, or sometimes its as simple as trying over and over again in a single workout session until everything finally snaps. But you will never achieve anything if you never set out to do something. Everything great in this world started with an idea of a single person. So make yourself great, set goals, chase them, stumble, learn, try again, believe and in that moment you have reached your target,… bask in the glory…. And then tomorrow, -do it all over again….
