FREE WORKOUT!

1st CrossFit Intro class is free!

CrossFit Mean Streets is a gym operated by Competitors. We compete in the sport of fitness and are ready to do the unknown and the unknowable full time. We train our athletes in the gym the same way. We want our people capable of all tasks this world has to offer. This is a gym made for people who want to be good at everything and make no excuses about it.

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:

■ Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds,
some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep
intake to levels that will support exercise but
not body fat.

■ Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean,
squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly,
master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups,
dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to
handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds.
Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.

■ Five or six days per week mix these elements
in as many combinations and patterns
as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy.
Keep workouts short and intense.

■ Regularly learn and play new sports.

Sunday Mass ----> Bench Pressing to increase shoulder press

Because the body is mostly stabilized by the bench during a bench press, it is the movement that one can lift the most weight with the upper body. Most of us did bench pressing our entire exercise career. It is an exercise that is mostly fueled by ego and is usually at the top of [...]

Winning is the only option

Written by Ronnie Teasdale

A long time ago I was sitting in a room. I was with my mother, waiting for my younger sisters to get done with ballet practice.

I remember picking up a book out of boredom. And it was full of sentences that explained the difference between a winner and a loser. I do [...]
