1st CrossFit Intro class is free!

CrossFit Mean Streets is a gym operated by Competitors. We compete in the sport of fitness and are ready to do the unknown and the unknowable full time. We train our athletes in the gym the same way. We want our people capable of all tasks this world has to offer. This is a gym made for people who want to be good at everything and make no excuses about it.

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:

■ Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds,
some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep
intake to levels that will support exercise but
not body fat.

■ Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean,
squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly,
master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups,
dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to
handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds.
Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.

■ Five or six days per week mix these elements
in as many combinations and patterns
as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy.
Keep workouts short and intense.

■ Regularly learn and play new sports.

Warm Up:

3 Rounds

350 Row (Ski if you are a NLP competitor)
50 Double Unders
15 PVC Shoulder Pass Throughs
15 Back Extensions
15 Knees to Elbows (Max out if you are a competitor)

Skill:

3-position clean: warm-up sets as needed, then 3 heavy sets of 3-position cleans with 75 percent of 1RM

WOD:

AMRAP 10min:

6 squat cleans (135/95)
12 Pullups
24 Double Unders

WOD 10-29-10

5 rounds, each lasting 3 minutes.

Round 1:
- 15 back squats at 1.5 X bodyweight
- Burpees, AMRAP in time remaining

Round 2:
- Run 400m
- Burpees, AMRAP in time remaining

- 30 pull-ups
- Burpees, AMRAP in time remaining
